PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT (PTA)
The PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) is an organization that promotes collaboration between parents and teachers to support and improve the student experience. Through regular meetings, events and initiatives, the PTA offers parents the opportunity to actively participate in school life, contributing to the success of the school and the well-being of students.
AFTER SCHOOL
After-school activities offer students the opportunity to enrich their learning outside of traditional class hours. From sport to art, from music to robotics, these activities are designed to stimulate specific interests, encourage the development of complementary skills and promote social inclusion.
STUDENT ADVICE
The Student Council is an important organization within the school, made up of representatives elected by the students themselves. Its main objective is to represent students' interests, promote active participation and provide a forum to discuss and address issues relevant to school life. Through projects, events and initiatives, the Student Council plays a key role in promoting an inclusive, vibrant and cohesive school environment.
SCHOOL TRIPS
Field trips offer students the opportunity to learn outside of the traditional classroom environment, exploring the real world and enriching their educational experience. Through visits to museums, historic sites, cultural institutions, and local businesses, students can deepen their understanding of academic topics, develop new perspectives, and strengthen community connections.
EVENTS AND SHOWS
Events and demonstrations are crucial moments in school life, offering unique opportunities to celebrate successes, promote creativity and build a sense of community. From concerts to art exhibitions, science fairs to plays, these events are designed to engage students, parents and teachers in meaningful cultural and social experiences.
IMCD STEM LAB
Innovation, youth empowerment and active learning are the ingredients of the project which puts young people in direct contact with science and the world of work. IMCD Stem Lab, officially inaugurated in October 2022, is located within the international bilingual school BDC School and is used by students of different age groups (from kindergarten to secondary school).
SCHOOL BUS
To meet the needs of families, BDC offers a School Bus service for the home-school-home journey, with pre-established meeting points distributed throughout the city of Milan. A door to door service is also provided, upon request.
