Our 4-Year International Course (Starting September 2025)
BDC is proud to announce that from September 2025, students will have the opportunity to follow a 4-year international academic pathway at BDC School.
In the first two years, students can choose up to 8 IGCSE subjects, selected from a broad and diverse range that includes the subjects listed below, alongside many others. These internationally recognised qualifications lay a strong foundation for academic success.

IGCSE are recognised by over 10,000 schools, colleges, and universities worldwide and are considered one of the most popular international qualifications for students aged 14–16.
In the final two years, students will select between 3 and 5 A Levels, enabling them to earn an internationally respected diploma and prepare for university studies in Italy or abroad.
Over 90% of UK universities—and many top institutions globally—accept A Levels for direct entry into undergraduate courses. A Levels are known for their academic rigour and subject specialisation.
As part of this programme, all students will:
-
Study Italian language and culture, ensuring strong bilingual competence.
-
Participate in 3 hours of Physical Education per week, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
-
Engage in "Made in Italy" project-based learning, which reflects our unique design and innovation approach. Signature projects include initiatives like F1 in Schools and creative challenges under the Made in Italy banner. A 2022 survey by Cambridge International found that 98% of students who studied IGCSEs and A Levels felt well prepared for higher education or employment. This new international course further strengthens BDC’s commitment to delivering a forward-thinking, globally minded, and locally rooted education.
