Cambridge IGCSE at BDC School
At BDC School, our High School programme begins with the internationally recognised Cambridge IGCSE, designed for students aged 14 to 16 (Years 10 and 11). As an approved Cambridge International School, we offer a rigorous and engaging curriculum that prepares students for success in further education and beyond.
A Strong Academic Foundation.
The Cambridge IGCSE provides a broad and balanced education, developing subject knowledge alongside essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning. Students study a carefully selected range of subjects, ensuring both academic depth and breadth.
Cambridge IGCSE Subjects.
At BDC, the IGCSE curriculum is organised into four subject areas. Students have the flexability to choose their subjects of studies:

Personalised Learning.
We recognise that every student is different. Small class sizes and a supportive environment allow us to tailor learning to individual needs, helping each student reach their full potential. Teachers provide regular guidance and feedback, ensuring students are well-prepared for examinations and confident in their abilities.
IGCSE Programme Schedule.
Students must attend classes from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2:10 pm. In the afternoons, additional support is available from teachers should students require it.
Preparing for the Future.
The Cambridge IGCSE is an internationally recognised qualification, valued by universities and employers worldwide. It provides a solid foundation for progression
to advanced study.
At BDC, we see the IGCSE not just as an academic milestone, but as a key stage in developing confident, capable, and independent learners ready to take the next step in their educational journey.
